Christmas Music ImageMy original plan for this post had been to share the songs on my Christmas Favs playlist.  Then I ran into a few problems.  First, none of the songs had official videos on YouTube.  (Yes, there were unofficial videos but I’m not willing to put those on my blog.)  Then, I found that some of the songs weren’t even available as mp3 downloads from iTunes or Amazon.  That put a big crimp in my plans.  But it hasn’t stopped me from sharing some awesome Christmas music with you.

First up is a very traditional performance of Silent Night from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Next up is a performance of What Child Is This from Lindsey Stirling.  I absolutely love what she is doing with the violin. If this is your first introduction to Lindsey, I highly recommend you check out her YouTube channel.

One of my favorite Christmas song has always been Little Drummer Boy.  Here is an amazing acapella version from Pentatonix.

I was able to find one of the songs from my Christmas Favs playlist.  The song is The Prayer and is sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli

I’ve saved the best for last.  This is The Piano Guys performing O Come, O Come Emmanuel.  The combination of music and images contained in this video is absolutely beautiful!

I love this time of the year! I began listening to Christmas music as soon as the turkey was consumed on Thanksgiving day.  Because I love it so much, I wanted to be sure and share some great Christmas music with you.

I’m always looking for great Christmas music to add to my playlists.  Please share your favorite Christmas songs in the comments below, so I can check them out.
