Starting last Sunday and lasting through Wednesday, we were without Internet. When I woke up on Sunday morning at about 6:30 a.m., I found we had no Internet. I wasn’t feeling well, so I went back to sleep and assumed the problem would be resolved when I awoke again. But I would have been wrong. The problem was not resolved or us until Wednesday morning. I know that there was a DSL outage with AT&T for at least part of the time, but am not certain when it was actually resolved. And as we are chord cutters, that left us without television. All the while both David and I were sick. Lots of fun, NOT.
But during the time, I did get several layouts completed. I wanted to take a moment to share with you what I created when I was stuck at home with no Internet access.
As I’ve mentioned previously, I am on the creative team for Michelle Batton and I created two layouts for her. The first layout, Arizona, was created using her Paper Blocks States: AZ NV UT templates. The second, Class of ’89 was created using this week’s new release, Sun Ray Overlays.
My next layout features a common subject, my sweetheart Sazume. I just can’t resist taking pictures of her. This layout was created using product from another designer for whom I CT, Merkeley Designs, including Date Arounds 2.
I have really come to love working on Art Journaling style layouts. I am pretty sure that not all my layouts necessarily meet the strict definition of “art journal” but I still love the pages I create. This page is an All About Me layout that I really love the way it turned out.
My final layout for today is me actually using some of my digiscrapping stash. SWAK from Miki Ferkul has been in my stash for almost a year. I finally decided it was time to use it.to scrap a photo of David & I taken at Christmas. I loved working with the kit as much as I thought I would when I initially grabbed it.
I want to thank you for stopping by to checkout my latest creations. I hope you have a great weekend ahead of you. If you are a scrapper, I’d love to see your work. Just leave me a link in the comments below.
