December has kept me busy with Christmas shopping. Plus I’ve actually been doing at least one layout a week. I know this doesn’t seem like a lot, but since I barely scrapped for over a year until the beginning of November, I am pretty happy.
On the Saturday before Christmas, I got a new haircut. I had to use the front facing camera on my iPad to get a picture but at least I now have one to share with you.
My sister and her husband were in town for Christmas. It was a surprise for my mom and I know she thoroughly enjoyed it.
And now for what is going on at this moment in December for me.
Anticipating: I’ve been so busy anticipating the arrival of Les Mis, but I finally saw it today, that I don’t have anything else to put here. I will tell you that I loved the movie. It took me a few minutes to get used to the fact that the songs weren’t being sung exactly like they were when I saw the touring company performance of Les Mis at The Kravitz Center or on the albums I’ve been listening to for over 20 years but once I got past that I loved the movie. I do recommend taking Kleenex if you are planning to go.
Contemplating: My word for 2013. I don’t think I am going to do any New Year’s Resolutions since I never keep them. But I really would like to have a word or phrase to focus on this year. But I need to finally decide on one before the clock runs out on 2012.
Enjoying: The cooler weather that has finally come to South Florida. For awhile, I thought we might just move from Summer to Spring.
Appreciating: I am really appreciating Hulu Plus these days. That is where I have been finding most of the shows I’ve been watching. We’re cord cutters, so we don’t have cable TV.
Working On: I am gong to begin working on a layout for one of my creative teams tomorrow. But right now I don’t have a project I am really working on. I need to get back to recreating the layout that got corrupted but haven’t been in the mood to start over.
Drinking: A Sonic Coke. That is pretty much a given for me. I love Sonic drinks.
Coveting: Smaller clothes sizes. lol
Watching: Little Mosque on the Prairie. It’s a Hulu exclusive and it is so funny. I am currently in the middle of Season 3 and the show is still really funny. I highly recommend this show if you are looking for something new to once. This is a very family friendly show.
Trying: I haven’t had dinner and it’s almost 9 p.m. Trying to decide if I want to run and grab something real fast.
Bundling: Not a thing. This is South Florida. lol
Well that’s it for December. Hopefully I will be back with a new post before the end of January. No promises, but I will try. (Although Yoda would not approve. lol)
