Even though I didn’t get started first thing this morning creating my digital page for the day, I still met my goal. Two days in a row. I’m on a roll. :O)

For today’s page, I went with a more traditional scrapbooking page. I began paper scrapbooking at the end of 1996. I switched to digital in the summer of 2006. I think digital art journaling is now my favorite form of creation, but I will never give up digiscrapping completely. Just not going to happen.

For this page, I began by adding the photo to the page and then cropping it to fit the frame I chose. After that I added a couple of paints below the photo before I even chose a background page. Once I decided on the wood patterned paper, I knew that most of my elements were going to be paint type elements. Of course, I did blend a couple of photos on to the background paper to create a more painted look. I couldn’t finish the page without adding a few additional elements on top of the frame and one element at the bottom of the page. I chose the Polla font, because I felt like it looked painted on top of the wood patterned paper.

May 2016 Selfie

You will probably see a couple of more selfie pages this month. At the beginning of the year I challenged myself to take at least one selfie every month so that I would always be included in scrapbooking pages. So far this year, I have met my goal. However, as you can see I am behind on page creation. I want to get caught up before the end of July.

Thanks for stopping by to see my latest creation. I’d love to see what you are creating right now. Leave me a link below and I’ll be glad to check it out.

Until tomorrow, don’t forget to document your memories.
