Now that cooler temperatures are returning to South Florida, David and I can once again spend some time outside enjoying nature.  Photography walks are one of our favorite things today together.  David loves being outside and I love any opportunity to take photos.

For Saturday’s walk, I used my Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens for all of the photos I took on the walk.  I chose it because of it’s zoom and image stabilization.  Alas, there was too much zoom for most of the photos I wanted to take, so most of my shots were too blurry.  It’s just such a pain to try and change lenses during these walks.  So, I now have my next goal lens, the Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM.  I think this will be the perfect lens for when I only want to take one.

However, I did get a few shots that I am happy to share.  Today, I am sharing the photos I was able to take of the butterfly we saw near the water.  I love getting good shots of butterflies and I am particularly happy with these, I have to admit.

I have a few more photos I want to share with you on a later date. But today, I just wanted to share this beautiful butterfly.
