It’s hard to come up with a blog post when my thoughts on the attack in Belgium. Right now, CNN is saying that 34 are dead. Thirty-four more lives lost to terrorism. That’s where my thoughts are today.
I hate violence. I hate war. I wish we lived in a world where none of it happens. Yet it does. I can’t stop it. I don’t have a solution for bringing peace to the world right now. Oh that I did. I would offer it up freely.
As far as I’m concerned this is not the time to talk about our approach to fighting terrorism. It’s not the time to talk about the United States elections. There will be time in the upcoming days for all types of discussions. Just not today.
Today my thoughts are with the people of Brussels who are suffering. I pray that they will find peace in this difficult time. I hope that we can all take today to focus on those who are victims and not our personal political agendas.
