I became a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Prophet at the time was Ezra Taft Benson. However, he was already in bad health by the time I joined the church and I never actually heard him speak in Conference. So, when Howard W. Hunter became prophet, because I would actually be able to hear a living Prophet speak. I still remember the excitement of listening to his first address as Prophet. President Hunter often spoke about the Savior and his talks were wonderful. This Sunday, I want to share with you his address from April 1994 General Conferece. The talk is entitled What Manner of Men Ought Ye to Be? The address isn’t very long, but the message is still wonderful. I highly recommend taking a few minutes to read it.
